Are you a Foreman with experience working in the water sector?
My client is a Contractor looking to strengthen their delivery team for the remainder of the AMP7 funding cycle on their large framework portfolio on behalf of Severn Trent Water. The successful General Foreman's will work with the project managers and construction teams, as well as the sub contractors to ensure the successful on site delivery of complex Non-Infrastructure projects in the water sector.
We currently have a need for 2 General Foreman's to support on the clients most challenging clean water sites near Derby, as well as positions across the midlands and West midlands for wastewater construction based projects.
Due to the complexities involved, you MUST have experience as a Site Manager in the UK Water Sector or process based industries such as Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas etc. We can consider from a tier 1 or tier 2 contractor background providing you've worked with projects attached to UK Water Authorities.
In this role you will be responsible for:
 
-The general management of all construction and civil engineering
-The daily allocation of plant, labour and materials
-Co-ordinate activities on the site including Sub-contractors
-The management of the workforce on site to ensure that safe methods of work are used and the   
               effect on the environment is minimised,
-Ensuring deliveries are kept in safe area to keep from causing injury to the public and staff and                          plant not damaged.
-Ensuring correct PPE available and used
-Aid method statement production
