My client are a highly respected telecoms contractor, working on several projects across the UK. As part of new contracts won they are extending their team and are delighted to be offering the opportunity for a Project Manager to join the company. The new contract is situated in towns surrounding Guildford, using Guildford as a central hub you will be managing the projects as they come in and working closely with the companies partners to ensure a timely and cost effective approach is set out on the contracts.
 
The company have a great culture and work with some leading ISP's, offering a  great opportunity for an experienced PM to come in and bring their own ideas in and help with the running of the projects. You will work closely with senior management and the companies partners to ensure the clients needs are met and the customers are happy with the build.
 
The ideal candidate will have FTTP/FTTH experience, having worked on similar projects before. You will need to have had experience in looking after P&L, contractors and managing client expectations. You will be offered a competitive rate with a company vehicle and at least 2 years worth of contract work.
 
The role:
·Managing a team of contractors on an FTTP project
·Managing the costs of the project and ensuring completion in a timely manner
·Working with the client to overcome build issues and design faults
·Being the front for all customer quarries and ensuring a good reputation for the local people
·Work with design teams to ensure smooth transition from design to build
·Ensure H&S is paramount on site
 
 
Requirements:
·2+ years FTTP experience
·SMSTS (Desirable)
·NRSWA Supervisor
·NEBOSH (Desirable)
·Experience with contractors
·MAnagement qualification
·Full UK Driving License
