Our client are a large Telecoms Contractor, working closely with several Internet Service Providers to bring Superfast broadband and mobile connections to customers across the UK. Their support covers a wide range of specialist areas to ensure the networks are built and maintained to the high standards known in the UK.
 
They work on several projects across the UK and are currently looking for a Forklift Driver in Runcorn to join their team, initially on a contract basis but shortly moving to a permanent role, subject to passing probation. Working out of their North West depot, you will be part of the warehouse family, helping with deliveries, engineer truck loads and supporting with other warehouse/yard work.
 
The role is based on a 40 hour week, monday to Friday. This would be standard working hours. The ideal candidate will have a counterbalance license.
 
The role is paying £12 per hour PAYE, so includes 28 days holiday per annum.
 
The role:
·Supporting with deliveries
·Supporting engineers with taking equipment
·Organising the yard
·Ensuring incoming and outgoing stock is recorded correctly
·Working closely with other members of the team
·Working on Adhoc requests
·Checking incoming machinery from engineers
 
Requirements:
·Available ASAP
·Counterbalance license
·Able to get to site in RUncorn
·Previous Warehouse / Yard experience
·Working knowledge of site safety
·Good communication skills
·IT skills to book in and book out equipment
