My client a leading Telecoms supplier of network build and maintenance services are looking for a number of Fibre Surveyors to join their growing team in Chelmsford. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team with career progression and development opportunities. You will be surveying third party infrastructure to assess and record its suitability and document any proposed network upgrades/installations.
 
You will be required to deliver a consistently high level of customer service when out in the field ensuring you are working within the Health and Safety requirements as per company policy. Your day will consist of completing surveys in urban and rural locations, you must be able to work unsupervised and as part of a multi skilled team.  Good knowledge of FTTP/FTTH/CAT A planning process is essential.
 
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:
 
- NRSWA Street works card
- At least 2 years experience working on a telecoms network
- Excellent knowledge of telecoms networks (UG&Overhead)
- Ability to understand and design complex network plans
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and email
 
Day rate of £170 per day. Van and equipment provided
