Job description

Are you experienced in Fibre design/planner looking for a new long-term opportunity? Are you looking to secure a role working directly for an Internet Service Provider?

You will take lead and ownership of the fibre design for allocated build. You will be able to work to deadlines and be able to adapt to change requests. Knowledge of GIS, Openreach PIA and splicing would be advantageous.
 
The role will include:
 
·Creating HLDs and LLDs - identifying optimal route, fibre deployment method
·Attending plan virtual walkthroughs of a design plan with PMs and surveyors
·Creating Splice packs and LLD documents (Excel)
·Using the PIA portal to get pole, chamber and duct data
·GIS experience
·Identifying backhaul solutions and cabinet locations
 
Requirements:
 
·Proficient user of excel
·Experience of using a GIS platform (e.g. ESRI, QGIS)
·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
 
 
*This role will be split between working from home and office based*
