My client are currently planning a FTTP build across the East of the country, connecting thousands of homes to a full fibre network. My client are looking for an experienced Fibre Planner within the network. This is an exciting time to be joining a fast growing company.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
 
·Maintain and update detailed network design guidelines
·Ensure accurate completion of all planned submissions and work is completed on time
·Be responsible for developing the network designs to support the business needs.
·Responsible for the end to end processes and systems
·Scheduling and prioritisation of planning work activities
·Previous experience in creation and validation of the HLD
·Responsible of the designs using GIS systems
·Support the project team during build stages
·Creation of efficient and accurate detailed job packs
 
You must have previous experience with:
 
·GIS planning experience and desktop planning experience
·Manage deadlines and prioritise workloads
·Experience of working in a infrastructure build environment- Essential
·Third party contractor management - Desirable
·Worked within the fibre network previously - Essential
 
**This role will be completely home based**
