Our client are a large Utilities company based in the South West. They specialise in providing Full Fibre services to rural areas within the South West. As a Service supplier in the area they are a highly reputable company who offer great opportunities for employees in the local area.
 
Due to large growth in the area, they are currently looking for Cabling gangs to join their team in Somerset. This is a great opportunity for qualified cablers or telecoms technicians with their Streetworks and Overhead or Underground qualifications. You will be working directly on our clients network, ensuring all fibre cables are added to the ducts, the network is reported on and the information is passed to management so they can get the splicers out.
 
You will be working across the county to the companies plan. Safety is a high priority so all safety measures have to be put in place. The role has a level of autonomy, where you have flexibility on how to plan your day.

This role comes with full equipment, van and fuel. It is a Monday to Friday role, 40 hours per week. However this is night and weekend overtime available. You will be paid a competitive dy rate plus the following:
50p per meter of cable
£100 per blockage cleared
Saturday rate - 1.5x standard rate
Sundays / Bank holidays - 2x standard rate
Overtime - 1.25x rate
