My client is a fast-growing contractor working as a tier-one with a large ISP throughout Manchester. They are increasing in size due to large amounts of available work and due to this, they have an opportunity for engineers to join them.
 
As an overhead Fibre Cabler, you will be working on the installation and maintenance of the network. You will be responsible for splicing, terminating and testing the end-to-end integrity of the fibre installation. You'll be joining a growing team in Manchester providing FTTH using the existing overhead network . As a growing company, this is a brilliant opportunity for later progression.
 
You will work in a structured and permanent three-person team, with travel supplied alongside training and tools.
 
The following skills/experience are essential:
 
·NRSWA qualification
·BT accreditations SA001/SA002 and preferably S7/S8
·Previous experience working in Fibre OH - Overhead
·Splicing Fibres
·Knowledge of PON and Fibre types
·A Full UK Driving License
·Computer literate
