Estate Regeneration Planner
 
South London Borough Council are seeking a Planner to join their team for an initial 3 month contract.
 
You are able to work from home with occasional site visit or meetings, however offices are open if you wish to attend on a more regular basis.
 
The role has been deemed inside IR35, with pay rate negotiable for the right candidate.
 
Main duties of the role include, but not limited to;
 
·To manage the planning application process to a high standard, taking responsibility for the production and delivery of reports and information to enable robust decision-making on Estates regeneration planning applications
 
·To provide substantial technical expertise on all matters relating to development management against the council's planning policies and the statutory process, including housing, development finance,  transport, green and social infrastructure, design and other matters, relating to the Estates regeneration planning applications in line with the statutory development management process. You will also provide expert briefings that support council colleagues including the Senior Management team Cabinet and Councillors
 
·To be responsible for leading on the inputs into planning legal agreements (including Section 106) including their negotiation, financial development viability inputs in relation, and monitoring their delivery.
 
·To manage and monitor resources effectively to successfully deliver planning decisions on the Estates Regeneration planning applications, reporting to senior managers as required.
