Role: Environmental and Ground Monitoring Engineer
Location: Uckfield
Salary: £25,000 -£35,000 + van + package / benefits
Employment: Full time permanent
 
My client has a vacancy for an Environmental and ground monitoring engineer to join their team in Uckfield.
 
This role will be working across construction sites across a wide range of industry sectors where you will be responsible for:
 
- Visiting client sites to install a range of environmental monitoring systems eg gas, air quality, noise, dust and similar
- In addition to this you will also be involved with installing ground monitoring equipment eg vibration, ground movement and structural monitoring equipment.
- You will be responsible for installing this equipment across client sites, collecting equipment once projects are complete and any necessary on site repairs
- Also you will need to down load data periodically from monitors
- Manage project delivery and liaise with client for site access and result from data monitored
- Although this is a site based role you will be required to be in the office / workshop approximately 2 days per week
 
Suitable candidates:
 
MUST HAVE:
·Some site based experience of environmental, geotechnical or similar monitoring equipment
·A full UK drivers license
·Computer literate eg ability to use emails,
·Be based within 45 min commute of Uckfield
 

On offer is a salary of £25,000-35,000 depending on experience + company van, overtime and benefits.
