Environmental Advisor - Contract - 12 Months -  £45 per hour (Inside IR35)
 
 
Our client are well renowned Nuclear company who operate internationally.
 
They are seeking an Environmental Advisor to join them on a 12month contract based at their site in Capenhurst.
 
Role Duties           
 
 
·Act as a Subject Matter Expert for environmental compliance issues and assist the HSE manager to set the framework for the comapny to comply with environmental legislation.
·Manage the company Radioactive Waste Scheme ensuring certification against the scheme requirements is maintained.
·Develop and manage the Environmental test programme for the company on their site and provide training and competence assessment for personnel who undertake relevant activities.
·Any other reasonable duties required by the HSE manager.
 
 
Knowledge and Experience Needed
 
 
·Excellent knowledge of relevant environmental legislation (Environment Permitting Regulations, Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005) and supporting guidance documents.
·Previous proven experience of providing environmental advice in an industrial environment.
·Hazardous Waste Regulations experience (Essential)
·Must have Stack emissions knowledge.
