Are you an engineering process engineer/ technical process manager with Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification?
 
Location: Birmingham (5 days in office over 2 week period)
 
Day rate:£600 per day inside IR35 umbrella
 
Contract length: 6 months
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to work client side on HS2 on a contract position.
 
This role will involve streamlining technical processes of system integration and defining end to end processes of technical assurance of hs2 railway. The team are currently looking to define what end to end looks like and your role will be to drive the lean aspect of eliminating waste, to help how measure effectiveness and create/implement KPI's. Client has just started 6 month scrum with sprints to how to get to future state.
 
 
This is a varied role looking at strategies, business plans and procedures including system integration, i design integration, competency and functionality engineering, technical assurance engineering and helping requirements management team.
 
They are looking for some one who has a technically strong background in business process/ business improvement background, implementing lean techniques, meaningful kpi and metrics and then drove activity.
 
Due to the nature of the client the candidate must have excellent stakeholder engagement and be able to influence organisations.
 
Key experience:
- Support in the management of the set of technical processes within the Systems Engineering Management Plan and relevant technical baselines, which would include aspects such as reporting of KPIs,
- Lead in the development, changes and maintenance of the IMS section related to Technical Processes;
- Develop and implement the use of best practice and innovative engineering techniques, technologies and processes, driving consistency and helping to identify opportunities for efficiencies across Phase 1 and Phase 2 delivery teams;
- Ability to communicate technical process development and management concepts to colleagues, based largely on examples of application.
 - Understanding of process performance, process improvement/analysis techniques, e.g. SIPOC, Lean/Six-Sigma
- Understanding of change management
