Role: Electrical Site Manager
Location: Thetford
Salary: £350 - £400 p/d - Outside IR35
Duration : 6-9 months
Sector: Clean Water
Are you an Electrical Manager with knowledge of commissioning on Clean water Sites?
The business we are working with, who offers the market a unique end-to-end service ranging from needs assessment & solution definition, through design, manufacture, installation & commissioning, to after care and operation of water & waste water treatment assets.
The project has gone through the primary construction phase and is looking for an Electrical bias Site Manager to oversee the testing of the project, and most importantly, the commissioning on site. project value is approx. £5m.
Approximately 6-9 months is the remaining time on the project. There is potential for the individual to take on another site or project management role after, so this role offers great progression opportunities.
Suitability: The role would suit a self-motivated individual with demonstrable worksite management experience and a water industry background. They will need to be a good communicator and willing to work within a site team and collaboratively alongside clients and fellow subcontractors. Some previous project management experience would be a bonus
Duties & Responsibilities:
General Duties:
oManagement of site personnel and subcontractors.
oLiaising with the Project Manager / Project Engineer on all aspects of the project.
oLiaising with all personnel working on the project regarding all aspects of the contract.
oMaintaining a high standard of positive communication with our client site teams
oWriting engineering reports, commissioning schedules, etc.
oOthe Planning, Communication, Stakeholder Mnaagement and HSEQ based duties
Key Skills & Experience:
·Electrical Engineering bias and relevant tickets/qualfiications
·Experience within the UK water industry.
·Advanced MS Office skills.
·Report writing skills.
·Good communication skills, able to interact effectively with Clients and colleagues.
·Organisational skills with a commitment to the role and a keen eye for detail.
