What we need:
Carrington West are pleased to be working with our client, a local authority based in the South East of the UK, to find an experienced and reliable Drainage Design Engineer.
The job is a 6-month contract which will be worked from home full time based on a 37.5 hour week.

What you will do:
·Building Drainage Design to Building Regulations/ Sewers for Adoption 
·Highway Drainage Design relating to DMRB 
·LLFA/ S278/S38/S106 both in design and checking of designs

What you will need to succeed:
You will be degree qualified in Civil engineering and have several years' experience in undertaking drainage modelling and design, ideally gained within a consultancy or local authority environment. You should have the knowledge to prepare estimates of future work for incorporation in proposals and be comfortable meeting with clients to discuss present and future projects. 
You will be proficient in the use of AutoCAD, ideally Civils 3D/ PDS, and have experience of writing contracts in SHW (Highways England) and/or NBS formats.
