I am working with a busy Local Authority situated in Hertfordshire who are looking to welcome a Team Leader to the Development Management team in their planning department.
 
In this role you will work closely with the Service Manager for DM to ensure that all
team staff are able to be involved in work beyond the normal scope of their role; to ensure
that all team staff have access to development opportunities; to ensure resources are
aligned to service demands; to ensure that staff of appropriate skill and experience are
assigned appropriately and to ensure that appropriate staff teams are assigned to project
work as necessary.
 
You will have responsibility for management functions for staff within your team, directly reporting or assigned to you.
 
You will provide guidance, support and assist with problem solving for all staff within your team or assigned to you to manage.
 
Carrington West are willing to offer £50-55 per hour for this position.
 
To be successful in this position you MUST BE:
·A Qualified Town Planner with significant experience within a Local Authority Planning Department
