My local authority client is looking to source a planning officer to join their development management team on an initial contract period of 6-9 months.
 
As a planning officer, you will be working on a mixture of planning applications, ranging from PD rights to householder & minors.
 
Ideally you will have worked in a local authority or the private sector before as a planning officer, however the manager is open to seeing applicants with a planning qualification/education with no experience.
 
There is a requirement to conduct site visits, so a driving licence is essential for this role. You may use your own vehicle and there are also pool cars available to use.
 
This role can be worked mainly remotely.
