My client is seeking a contractor with circa 12 months experience within a Local Authority DM Planning Team to work on a mixed caseload of mainly small scale/type applications. They're looking to bring in an experienced planner that can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
 
You will be mainly working from home, with the exception of site visits and meetings once per week (there is flexibility on this). The office location can be discussed upon application to the role.
 
To be successful in this position you will ideally have/be:
·Access to your own vehicle or a valid UK driving license (for travel to and from the office and for site visits)
·A Qualified Town Planner with experience within a Local Authority Planning Department
·Comfortable working from home and using Microsoft Teams/Zoom
·Working as part of a team to ensure all targets and deadlines are met.
 
It would be desirable to have greenbelt experience but not essential.
 
Carrington West are willing to offer up £37 per hour (dependent on experience) for this position.
