Senior Planner
Housing Developer
Exeter
Up to £45,000 plus car allowance
 
Carrington West are assisting their client in their search for a senior planner on a permanent basis.
 
We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest UK's housing developers in their brand-new regional office in Exeter. They are keen to speak with senior planners from both the private and the public sector to join their planning team. The role will predominantly be office based with one day a week working from home, on site parking and charging points for electric cars.
 
You will be reporting into the Planning Manager assisting them with site visits, support the Land and Planning teams in delivering applications throughout Devon & Cornwall. As a senior planner you will provide valued advice on site appraisals for the Land department and manage planning queries as required.
 
You will need:
·MRTPI or  RICS
·Experience in planning policy or development management within public or private sectors.
·Strong organisational skills, proactive and forward thinking approach.
·A good understanding of relevant regulations and legislation.
·The ability to develop excellent working relationships at all levels including third parties.
