Carrington West are assisting a number of London based local authorities in their search for Town Planners to join their Development Management teams on initial 3 month contracts (Then rolling). Remote based with occasional site visits.

The ideal candidates will have experience dealing with a range of planning applications including a mix of Householder and Minor applications. The right candidate will be motivated, technically knowledgeable, and have a strong customer service ethos.

You will be required to have some knowledge and experience working within a council town planning team as you will be expected to hit the ground running and manage your own case load of applications.
 
It would be beneficial although not mandatory to hold a RTPI accredited Planning Degree or equivalent Planning qualification and have experience in a similar position; and also hold a licentiate membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (or equivalent). 
 

Carrington West Pay Rate - Up to £30per/hour (Flexible depending on experience)
