Data Analyst - Croydon
 
Our client are a large Water Utilities company that support the local water companies in supplying water to peoples homes. They have a great reputation in the industry for supporting the water companies and excelling in customer service.
 
The Data Analyst is responsible for identifying areas of high water leakage, producing field packs for technicians, reporting on survey progress and results utilising office packages, performance reporting and production of presentations, general support to supervisors and manager. We are looking for Candidates with a high level of computer literacy and data analysis experience across the water industry.
 
Skills & Experience (including Education/Qualifications):
 
o Must have an understand of the workings of Distribution systems.
o Analytical skills and experience in Leakage Analysis/Hydraulic Modelling to interpret flow and pressure data.
o Knowledge of regulatory requirements and procedures.
o Good interpersonal and communication skills.
o Ability to operate Geographical Information Systems and Flow Monitoring software.
o Ability to operate electronic mobile communications devices.
o A basic knowledge of domestic bye-laws and water quality requirements.
o Good IT Skills essential.
o Knowledge of leak detection technology and leak detection techniques.
o Ability to work to alone and to targets is essential.
o Good problem solving ability.
o Extremely good customer facing skills is essential and GSS/SIM process awareness.
o Fully aware of H&S, HR, NRSWA, Environmental and QA policies and standards.
 
Main Duties:
 
o Responsible for the intelligent targeting of leakage and step testing field resources.
o Liaison with key interfaces (including Service Provider Area Manager and Team Leaders) over operational activities and incidents.
o Responsible for the collection of flow and pressure logging data to meet reporting targets.
o Installation and interrogation of flow and pressure logging equipment.
o Ensuring housekeeping of the electronic mobile communication device is maintained.
o Ensuring effective evaluation of new leakage technology on site.
 
Pay
 
Between £22,000 - £24,000 - dependant on experience
