Attention All Experienced Commercial Managers!
A leading highways contractor, working on behalf of a county council, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to manage its Quantity Surveying (QS) department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of the projects, including cost control, budget management, subcontractor procurement and final account preparation. They will also be required to liaise with the client, subcontractors and design teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

What you will need

The ideal candidate will have:
·Proven experience as a Commercial Manager within the highways sector
·Strong knowledge of the construction industry, particularly in relation to Quantity Surveying
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·The ability to manage and motivate a team
·Strong organizational and time management skills
·A professional and proactive approach to problem solving

What you will get 

In return, the successful candidate will receive a competitive rate of £600 per day along wity Hybrid working arrangement (2/3 split) This is also a great opportunity to work on a range of exciting Highways projects.
