Job description
Job Role - Commercial Manager
Location - Aberdeen
Contract Length - 5 Months
Pay Rate - Negotiable (INSIDE IR35)
I'm representing one of the largest engineering companies across the UK and they are looking for an experienced commercial manager to join their team.
Key Deliverables:
- Have the ability to implement commercial best practices in order to maximize value and minimize cost and risks
- Screen legal reviews and client submissions whilst coordinating commercial support
- Provide commercial and contractual support and guidance to project managers
- Assess risks and makes recommendations based on a solid analysis of the factors involved in business situations
- Manage the subcontractors/supplier agreements and follow thr laid out invoice approval procedures
- Master the service agreement management, this will include timely renewals and review negotiations
- The role will include some bid work and review proposed terms ad conditions for risk and opportunities
- Have the ability to stage gate reviews
- Manage, coordinate and negotiate non-disclosure agreements and trading agreements
- Lead the development of innovative commercial models for the energy transition market
- Monitor and analyze commercial key metrics
Skills and Experiences:
- Educated to degree standard in related subject
- Membership of a relevant professional institute, chartered status
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to influence others at multiple levels internally and externally
- Strong commercial acumen and significant experience in a similar position
- Experience within Energy, particularly within design and consultancy commissions
- Time management and the ability to work plan in high pressure situations
- Strong strategic and negotiation skills to make sound commercial decisions
- Stakeholder relationship management
- A legal understanding of relevant contracts
- Must be a strategic thinker and have strong negotiation skills
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask
- Proficient user of Microsoft office applications
