Highways Clerk of Works
 
Are you an experienced Highways Clerk of Works looking for your next contract role?
 
I am currently recruiting for an experienced Highways Clerk of Works to join a busy client in North Wales on a temporary contract basis.
The main duties of the clerk of works are:
·Undertake supervision of highway maintenance works to ensure compliance with the requirements of the contract and including keeping clear and accurate records of necessary to demonstrate that compliance.
·Understand the principles of an NEC 3 contract to assist in the management of contractors and understand the roles and responsibilities of a supervisor.
·Undertake, and supervise others in, the supervision of highway maintenance schemes where appropriate to ensure compliance with contractual requirement.
·Prepare and supervise others in the preparation of technical and financial reports to ensure all schemes are appropriately approved and authorised for construction.
