Construction Contracts Manager (Civils)
 
Salary: £55,000
 
Location: Lincolnshire based or within commutable distance
 
Are you an experienced Construction Contracts Manager with a background in civil engineering and keen to join a market leading construction company working with top clients across the UK?
 
My client are offering an exciting opportunity for the perfect candidate to join their specialist civil engineering company and contribute to ongoing and upcoming projects during a period of growth and expansion.
 
They continue to maintain a legacy of excellence spanning over 30 years, specialising in delivering high-quality construction and maintenance solutions for public realm, highways, airports, and aviation facilities across the UK.
 
 
Day to day expectations:
·Managing contracts and leading negotiations
·Monitoring project budgets and identifying margins of opportunity
·Developing project plans and reaching objectives with a time-frame in mind
·Remaining compliant and ensuring best practice is followed
·Collaborate with clients, subcontractors and teams to strengthen relationships and achieve project goals
·Identify risks and mitigate them using contingency plans
·Generate regular project progress reports to feed back to senior management
 
Qualifications and Experience:
·Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering and contract management
·Proven track record in successfully managing construction contracts from start to finish.
·In-depth knowledge of civil engineering and construction industry standards and practices.
·Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage project budgets effectively.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
·Proficiency in risk assessment and management.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
·Relevant degree or certifications in civil engineering or construction management preferred.
