Job description

Engineering Technician:
My client is currently recruiting for engineering design technicians, either with prior experience, or a keen desire to work within a Civil Engineering design team on an accelerated learning curve.
The successful applicant will provide support to the Project Manager in the development and completion of projects primarily focusing on AutoCAD drafting.
Training will be provided for the use of the 3D site modelling packages operated by The Civil Engineering Practice.
Applicants should have 5 GCSE passes, including Maths and English or equivalent qualifications or training.
You should have a high level of attention to detail and a logical approach to problem solving; good communication skills verbal and written.
Prior knowledge of the following modelling packages would be useful but not essential:
·AutoCAD

Site modelling and highway design packages:
·PDS by Causeway
·Site3D by MicroPlot

Hydraulic modelling packages:
·Microdrainage by Innovyze
·Flow by Causeway
