We have a requirement for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a market leading consultancy working on the infrastructure design of airports. Experience having worked on airports would be advantageous, but not essential. Experience in road, pavement, drainage and earthwork design is the key focus for this role.
 
This is an ongoing contract position which is based in Surrey and offers hybrid working. This position falls inside IR35.
 
Key experience and skills required  
 
·Knowledge and experience of pavement design, materials specification and maintenance including principles and application of UK and international pavement design methods
·Experience in co-ordinating and delivering designs, including successful delivery of schemes from concept to detailed design
·Degree qualified Civil Engineer that is Chartered (preferable)
·Experienced in airfield engineering design (preferable)
·Application of EASA, CAA, ICAO, and UK Airport operator standards and design requirements (preferable)
·Working knowledge of the Heathrow, Gatwick and DIO airports technical requirements and design processes
·Proven track record in co-ordinating and delivering design solutions on time and to budget
