Job description
Civil / Senior Civil Engineer - Wastewater Infrastructure
Slough | Hybrid Working | Outside IR35
Are you a Civil Design Engineer with UK wastewater infrastructure experience ready to play a key role in AMP8 delivery?
Whether you're developing your capability, operating at senior level, or already performing as a Design Manager - this is an opportunity to join a growing consultancy delivering technically complex wastewater network schemes.
An expanding detailed design team in Slough is looking to appoint engineers across varying levels of experience to support the design and delivery of:
·Sewerage rising mains and trunk sewers
·Wastewater pipeline rehabilitation and renewals
·Pumping stations and gravity sewer systems
·Feasibility studies, optioneering and asset assessments
You'll work within a technically strong team delivering compliant designs aligned to Sewerage Sector Guidance, Water UK standards and UK regulatory frameworks.
Senior-level engineers will take ownership of design packages, mentor junior staff, interface with clients and support programme and commercial inputs.
Those operating at, or ready to step into, Design Manager level will have the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary coordination, oversee technical governance, and shape delivery strategy.
Why consider this move?
·Long term work OUTSIDE IR35
·Strong AMP8 workload visibility
·Exposure to technically challenging wastewater infrastructure projects
·Growing consultancy environment where individuals can genuinely influence delivery
·Hybrid/ Flexible working arrangement based from Slough office
This opportunity is well suited to engineers with UK wastewater pipeline design experience, ideally familiar with Civil 3D, AutoCAD and hydraulic modelling tools such as InfoWorks ICM or EPANET.
