CCTV & Traffic Enforcement Officer

Are you detail-oriented with a passion for public service and keeping the roads safe? A busy London borough Council is recruiting a CCTV & Traffic Enforcement Officer to join them on a contract basis.

What you'll be doing:

·Reviewing CCTV and ANPR footage to identify parking, bus lane, and moving traffic violations
·Issuing penalty charge notices in line with civil enforcement powers
·Managing video processing systems and enforcement databases
·Conducting regular system checks and liaising with suppliers to ensure full operational capacity
·Maintaining accurate exemption lists and traffic restriction data
·Checking on-street signage and road markings to ensure enforceability
·Providing witness statements for appeals and tribunal cases
·Supporting administrative tasks and ensuring data integrity
·Ensuring all activity complies with legislation, including the Data Protection Act
What we're looking for:
·Someone with excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·Confidence working with ICT systems and processing sensitive data
·A proactive, responsible attitude to health, safety, and council policies
