Our client are a highly organised, highly reputable contractor in the Telecoms Sector. They have several contracts in the South West and have secured work for several years in the area.
 
Working in a team that has several planned projects, you will be busy cabling in a number of towns in the local area. Working closely with the planning team to understand where your next job will be. You will ideally need to have your own van and tools. But they can be supplied for a reduced rate.
 
As a cabler, you will be responsible for laying fibre for the jointing teams to connect. Ensuring the cable is laid in the correct ducts and match the plans from the Surveyors. This role is price work (rates can be sent) and offers a great chance to earn well and have a secure long term.
 
The ideal candidates will be accredited to do PIA work, have their UG and OH qualifications and a good understanding of the Openreach or ideally City fibre Network would be ideal. All accreditations need to be on the Smart awards card.
 
Responsibilities:
 
·Ensure route is correct
·Hit required cable amounts
·Working overhead or below ground
·driving to site
·Communicate with the planning & health and Safety teams

·One of 2 needs to have full UK Driving License
