A Power & transmission BIM Engineer/coordinator is required on a contract basis for a minimum of 6 months.
 
The position will be working within a company renowned for its expertise in the Power and infrastructure markets working on prestigious and notable projects in the UK. In particular working closely with Utilities companies and HS2.
 
 
The Project BIM Engineer shall have responsibility for ensuring the Project Information model is developed to the agreed levels of information and in strict accordance with the agreed standards, methods and procedures, defined in the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
 
Key responsibilities
·Produce 3D models from 2D information and data from surveys
·Coordinate modelling and drawing production to the requirements
·Assist with CAD templates
·Support BIM Manager
·Consider Multi-Utilitiy Infrastructure
·Analyse construction problems and create solutions
·Lead the project
 
Requirements:
·BIM360 Cloud
·Projectwise
·CDE platforms
·Navisworks
·Relevant experience in Civil/ Electrical
·NHC/HND in Engineering or Technical Design
·3D AutoCAD experience to a high level
·Excellent Organisational skills
 
Rate is negotiable depending on experience. The position can be based out of Warrington. This is a 6 month initial contract that is likely to extend.
