Role: Assistant Project Manager
Location: Havant, Hampshire
Salary: Up to £50,000 p/a depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
 
Are you currently working as an Assistant Project Manager looking to work on an exciting new project in the water sector?
 
My client is looking for a candidate with an Engineering degree (ideally Civil) with a minimum of 5 years' experience of working on infrastructure projects in the water sector.
 
The vacancy is for my client's role in the Havant Thicket Project which is a 4km long bi-directional main from Bedhampton Springs to the reservoir itself. You will be based on site in Havant full-time.
 
The project's value is circa £40M and it is currently in the design and planning application phase. Construction is due to commence in late 2024 with a construction period of circa 2 years.
 
You will form part of the team from this pre-construction phase and into the project delivery phase, so this is an exciting opportunity to work on a project from start to finish.
 
The role would include the following and the ideal candidate will have experience with the majority of these aspects:
 
·Preparing project specific documents such as Project Execution Plans;
·Obtaining all necessary consents/permits/licences;
·Liaising with stakeholders and stakeholder groups;
·Preparing construction related documents such as RAMS, traffic management plans and phasing plans, etc;
·Attending or chairing meetings with stakeholder groups, subcontractors, etc.;
·Reviewing planning/consent applications to ensure they do not constrain the construction process;
·Preparing monthly progress reports for the client;
·Day to day work site coordination and planning to ensure the works are carried out safely and efficiently;
