·You will be working closely with senior engineers to develop your technical understanding
·You will be attending site visits across the region and liaising with contractors and clients
·You will be building a solid grounding in industry standards, best practice and health & safety
·
To be successful as an Assistant Geotechnical Engineer, you will need:
·You will have 1-2 years' experience in a geotechnical or ground engineering role
·You will hold a degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
·You will have some experience of site investigations and report writing
·You will be keen to learn, proactive and enthusiastic about developing your career
·You will have good communication skills and be comfortable working as part of a team
·You will ideally hold a full UK driving licence
You will be based in Newcastle. Flexible working options are available, and you will benefit from a clear development pathway with structured mentoring to help you progress from Assistant Geotechnical Engineer level and beyond.
