Who will you be joining?
A highly motivated Local Authority based in the London.This is one of the fastest growing Building Control teams in the country. The office location can be discussed upon application to the role.
 
What will you do?
Within this role you will have a versatile list of responsibilities which includes the following:
 
·Assisting with technical reviews of building control submissions under the supervision of senior surveyors.
·Preparing and issuing Plan Check Reports and Certificates.
·Attending meetings and liaising with clients, design teams, architects, and contractors with the senior building surveyor.
·Assisting with site visits and inspections with reports and follow up measures put in place.
 
What do you need?
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:
 
·A basic back ground in Building Control.
·Be working towards CABE, RICS or CIOB qualification.
·Appropriate knowledge and understanding of the Building regulations, associated legislation and construction standard.
