Contract Length: 6 months
Working Pattern: 3 days per week in office or onsite
Pay Rate: £400/day (Umbrella)

My client is looking for an Asset Protection engineer to Lead the requirements for examination and undertake evaluation, assessment and risk management of Network Rail assets. Manage compliance of examination and evaluation of Network Rail assets against requirements of standards. Provide engineering input to the standards and specifications for Network Rail examinations and assessments.
Essential Requirements
·Technical qualifications to HNC/HND or equivalent GNVQ level.
·Proven experience managing external and third-party activities, with strong risk mitigation capability.
·Successful experience in engineering disciplines, ideally with exposure to construction and design projects across multi-disciplinary areas.
·In-depth knowledge of technical, safety, and performance standards and their application to asset protection.
·Clear understanding of CDM regulations and Health & Safety legislation, with ability to identify CDM duties.
·Familiarity with Safety Management Systems and Safe by Design principles.
·Understanding of independent work assessment requirements.
·Sound knowledge of Quality Assurance.
·Competent in Risk Assessment and auditing internal/external engineering competency.
