Location: Wokingham
Salary: Up to £50,000 p/a depending on experience + company car or car allowance

Are you an experienced Ecology Manager or Team Leader looking for your next challenge within a leading Water & Ecology team?
 
My client is looking for an Aquatic Ecology Team Leader or Manager to lead their aquatic ecologists in delivering a field survey & reporting service. The ideal candidate will be based within 3 hours of Wokingham as their projects are based across the Midlands and the South of England.
 
Weekly contractual hours are 35 per week, with daily hours being 9am - 5pm, 5 days per week, with a 1 hour paid lunch break each day.
 
 
Your role will involve:
·Leading a team of aquatic ecologists in delivering a field survey & reporting service;
·Providing ecological technical expertise in support of field delivery teams;
·Preparing and reviewing technical reports;
·Performing a key client account holder role
·Supporting the delivery of the Water & Ecology Department growth plan through sales and marketing activities;
·Ensuring that the Water & Ecology divisional KPI's are met and helping to provide necessary training & development.
 
Skills:
·Knowledge & experience within ecology and environmental sectors;
·Educated to a degree level in a Biological or Environmental Sciences discipline and experience of providing ecology consultancy services;
·Comprehensive technical knowledge of freshwater aquatic ecology and terrestrial ecological ecology;
·Experienced at writing & reviewing technical reports;
·Experienced at preparing tender submissions;
·Chartered membership of a relevant professional body such as CIWEM or IFM
·A full & clean UK Driver's License is essential.
