Carrington West Awarded Investors in Diversity for Small Business 

Carrington West is delighted to announce they have achieved the Investors in Diversity for Small Business award. 

The prestigious Investors in Diversity for Small Business is awarded by the National Centre for Diversity. The award is seen as the national standard in the UK and is in recognition to organisations that have a commitment to improving fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion and engagement (FREDIE) within the workplace.

To achieve the award, employees participated in a comprehensive survey regarding in house FREDIE practices, the results qualified in the outstanding results. Reporting the results, the National Centre for Diversity highlighted Carrington West’s “structured approach to improving ED&I”, and noted that overall, employee’s “felt valued and respected” and that 96% agree that FREDIE is taken seriously by the company.

Carrington West’s ED&I Champion, Ella Razzell, says “We are delighted to achieve this award, but it is important to recognise that ED&I is a journey that doesn’t have an end point. Using the results from the report as a benchmark, we will continue to improve our processes and practices.”
