We're looking for an experienced Works Manager to oversee a highways scheme involving the earthworks, drainage and roundabout construction on a freelance basis.
You'll be responsible for day-to-day site supervision, subcontractor management, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. A strong focus on health & safety, quality assurance, and compliance is essential.
What we're looking for:
·Proven experience in highways/civil engineering, ideally with earthworks and drainage works
·Experience with overseeing gangs (up to 4 separate gangs)
·Knowledge of CDM Regulations and temporary works
·CSCS (Site Manager), SMSTS & First Aid certifications
·Ability to interpret drawings/specs with excellent communication & organisational skills
