An immediate requirement has arisen for a Quality Assurance Manager to work for a national highways contractor working on the high speed road network in Birmingham.
 
The successful Quality Assurance Manager will carry out the management of inspections, examinations, surveillance and witnessing of construction works to verify compliance with the design.
 
You will report into the Construction Manager, carrying out duties as the Works Examiner in accordance with Highways England Standard CG300 'Technical Approval of Highway Structures'.
 
The role would suit a Quality Manager who has specifically worked on Highways contracts and fully understands the process of assuring works are carried out to a high standard as detailed by the end client.
 
Within the role of Works Assurance Manager you will need to liaise with all areas of the business including Operational staff so a strong communicator will be needed.
