An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Urban Design Engineer/Officer with experience in Public, Highways and Transportation to join a client in London. Your main duties include providing design advice on all matters related to urban design specific to highways and public realm projects, undertaking design research, assisting with stakeholder engagement and consultation as well as leading on scheme delivery across the area.
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £40 - £42 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working and working from home options are available.
 
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:

 - Using AutoCAD and other relevant software to progress a range of highways and public realm urban schemes
 - Project managing schemes from inception to design into delivery  
 - Providing expert technical advice on all matters related to urban design  
 - Leading on community, stakeholder and resident engagement and liaison
