Tree and Landscape Officer
Hampshire
Rate negotiable depending on experience - Inside IR35
Do you want to work for a highly motivated local authority planning team who consistently delivers a high level of service?
You will be mainly working from home, with the exception of site visits and key meetings. The office location can be discussed upon application to the role.
You will be required to work both individually and as part of a team to continue the high level of service that the local authority operate to currently.
Tasks would include:
·The assessment and reporting on applications to undertake works to trees the subject of a Tree Preservation Order (TPO)
·Consideration of the 6-week notifications of proposed works to trees within conservation areas
·The making of new TPOs
·Potentially assisting in the consideration of tree and landscaping issues arising from planning applications, including advising on the discharging of relevant planning conditions.
This could be either part-time or full time. The work will involve site visits so a valid driving licence and ideally access to a car will be essential.
