My client is currently looking for a Transport Planner to join them in their new Cambridge office, just a stroll across from Cambridge Station. This is a great opportunity to join the Transport team and be part of some ambitious plans for growth, being a key part of delivering projects at varying scales for a wide variety of clients, primarily in the East of England, but also further afield across the UK.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be involved in all aspects of projects from inception to completion. You will play an important role in developing and influencing transport strategies while assisting with the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans. Assisting junior members of the team will form part of your role, and it will be important to continue your own professional development through working collaboratively with others in the team.

The company brings imagination and determination to every challenge and your experience and understanding of the planning system and experience with Transport Assessments, Travel Planning, Junction modelling / analysis and experience of relevant software packages will be important. You will have experience working independently on projects supported by senior members of the team.  You should be working towards professional qualification, for example Transport Planning Professional or PDS.
