Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Transport Planner to join their team in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing transportation plans and strategies that support sustainable and efficient transportation networks in the context of new development projects.

Responsibilities:
·Work closely with developers, local authorities, and transport operators to ensure transportation planning and infrastructure are integrated into new development projects.
·Develop transportation plans and strategies that support sustainable and efficient transportation networks within new development projects.
·Conduct transportation studies and traffic analysis to inform development planning.
·Evaluate and recommend transportation improvements and infrastructure projects within the context of new development projects.
·Provide technical expertise on transportation-related matters to internal and external stakeholders.
·Collaborate with other departments to ensure transportation planning aligns with broader organisational goals.
 
Requirements:
·Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Transportation Planning, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred but not required.
·Experience in transportation planning within the context of development.
·Experience conducting transport assessments, transport statements and traffic analysis in the context of development planning.
·Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
·Proficiency in transportation planning software.
