Job Title: Traffic Management Planner
Location: Dunstable

About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced and proactive Traffic Management Co-ordinator to join our team in Toddington, supporting the delivery of technology works on the National Highways East contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in traffic management, highways, or project coordination who enjoys a fast-paced, hands-on role and wants to make a tangible difference in keeping the region moving.
Key Responsibilities:
·Plan and coordinate traffic management for technology projects across the NH East network
·Take ownership of traffic management arrangements, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
·Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to deliver reactive and planned maintenance efficiently
·Submit and manage road space applications and RAMS documentation
·Support depot audits and ensure facilities are operating to required standards
·Use bespoke software and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.) for planning and reporting
What We're Looking For:
·Strong organisational and coordination skills
·Experience in traffic management or highways (knowledge of 12A/B, 12C, or 12D T7 desirable)
·Ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks
·Great communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
·Flexibility to travel to various sites as required
·Competent in using basic IT systems and planning tools
