Traffic Engineer
 
A long-term contract opportunity has arisen within a busy London Borough for a Traffic Engineer to assist with the design and implementation of a variety of Traffic Engineering schemes.
 
Previous experience working in London is preferable, though not essential; though it is required candidates are experienced Design Engineers and proficient AutoCAD users.
 
Key responsibilities:
 
·Design of local safety schemes, including traffic calming measures and junction improvements
·Design of capital improvement projects, including cycle paths and cycleways
·Site supervision of on-site works
·Stakeholder liaison, including managing correspondence with members of the public and councillors
·Budget control for smaller schemes
 
You must have Highways / Traffic experience to apply for this role.
