Planning Consultant - Remote Role
Salary: Flexible, depending on experience
Are you an experienced planner who enjoys the technical side of planning more than client-facing work? This unique role offers you the chance to focus on high-quality written work and internal support, all while working fully remotely.
The Role
In this position, you'll play a key part in strengthening the consultancy's planning output by:
·Assessing planning feasibility for new enquiries and advising the internal team.
·Preparing planning statements, appeal statements, and supporting documents.
·Providing policy-based advice on applications and strategy.
·Making use of AI tools and the latest technology to improve efficiency and speed in producing written work.
What We're Looking For
·Several years of planning experience with a proven track record.
·Strong written skills with excellent attention to detail.
·Someone who works efficiently and is comfortable handling a wide variety of applications.
·A preference for internal support work rather than direct client liaison.
·An open mind to using technology and modern tools to enhance your work.
