A Temporary Works Design Engineer is required to join this well established buildings design consultancy based in central London.
 
About the company
The company are an established and successful consultancy working within the buildings sector. The company cover both permanent and temporary works designs across various building sectors for both new build and refurbishment projects.
 
Role & Responsibilities
The position requires an analytically minded person from a technical background, who ideally has experience in temporary works designs within the UK buildings market.
 
Requirements
BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural Engineering (Min 2:1)
Working towards chartership with ICE / IStructE
Min 2 years' relevant experience
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Experience in the design of temporary works that includes some the following:
1.Facade retention systems
2.Party walls
3.Retaining wall propping
4.Tower crane bases
5.Temporary roofs
6.Scaffolding and hoists
7.Mobile cranes
8.Temporary floor loads
9.Demolition techniques
