What you will be doing
As the Highways Surfacing Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end commercial management across multiple highways surfacing projects. You will:
·Lead and develop a commercial team, setting clear objectives and supporting progression
·Oversee cost control, forecasting, valuations, CVRs and final accounts
·Manage subcontractor procurement, commercial negotiations and change control
·Provide commercial leadership across highways surfacing frameworks and schemes
·Identify and mitigate commercial risk while maximising value and margin
·Work closely with operations and senior stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
What you must bring
To succeed as a Highways Surfacing Commercial Manager, you will have:
·Proven highways surfacing commercial experience (essential)
·Demonstrable experience managing and developing a commercial team
·Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and highways frameworks
