The practice is highly design led, working in close collaboration with architects to create intelligent, innovative buildings that are both technically robust and environmentally responsible.

The Role

You will play a key role in the day to day technical delivery of structural engineering projects, managing schemes from early concept through to construction. • Reviewing engineering designs produced by others to ensure technical excellence
  • Coordinating with clients, architects, contractors and consultants throughout design and construction
  • Attending design meetings, site inspections and progress reviews
  • Monitoring budgets and programmes, identifying risks and resource requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with UK design codes, sustainability objectives and statutory requirements
  • Promoting safe working practices and fulfilling CDM responsibilities
  • Supporting business development activities and maintaining strong client relationships

About You

  • Minimum 3 years' post-graduate experience in a structural design consultancy environment
  • Strong understanding of UK design codes
  • Actively working towards Chartered status (ICE or IStructE)
  • Confident managing projects and communicating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Technically strong, collaborative and commercially aware
  • Motivated to contribute to a supportive, design-focused studio culture

What's on Offer

  • 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Additional annual leave for long service
  • Your birthday off
  • Reimbursement of professional membership fees
  • Hybrid working arrangements
  • Flexible working hours
  • Time off in lieu scheme
  • Company performance-related bonus
  • Enhanced maternity and shared parental leave

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, forward thinking practice where you can take ownership of projects, develop professionally, and contribute meaningfully to innovative structural design.
