If so, I have an opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a growing consultancy in their Cambridge office.

Job Role

As a Structural Engineer, you'll play a key part in project delivery from concept through to construction. You'll be involved in:

  • Coordinating with fellow engineers and design professionals to develop integrated structural solutions
  • Conducting assessments and inspections of buildings across steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures
  • Producing clear, accurate technical documentation including reports and structural surveys
  • Ensuring consistency and quality in all technical outputs, from calculations to CAD deliverables

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of a wide range of construction materials and building types
  • Proficient in structural analysis software
  • Familiar with Eurocodes
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to write clear, well-structured reports
