An opportunity has arisen for a Streetworks / NRSWA Officer to join a client in London. Your main duties include inspecting the work carried out by utility & highways contractors, coordinating and issuing permits for the works across the area, assessing traffic management plans and ensuring all works are compliant with the legislation. Further duties include section 81 inspections, customer complaints resolutions, core sampling and defect inspection.
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £28 - £30 per hour + expenses - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working and working from home options are available.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·To assist in the management of the streetworks and road works throughout the area
·To ensure all streetworks and road works comply with the requirements of the NRSWA and the Traffic Management Act 2004, whilst causing minimal disruption.
·To assess and grant streetworks permits
·To assist with the co-ordination of highway related work
What is required?
 
·As the successful candidate, you will have a good working knowledge of NRSWA and TMA legislation
